Ford is teaming up with Hertz for the 50th anniversary of the “rent-a-racer” program that began with the classic Shelby GT350-H. Soon you will be able to rent a 2016 Shelby GT-H at select Hertz locations, which should make that business trip a bit more bearable
The result of their collaboration comes in the form of a special 50th Anniversary edition of the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H. It was in 1966 that Shelby and Hertz first decided they wanted to get drivers behind the wheel of a high performance Shelby through the “Rent-A-Racer” program. With the help of Ford this was accomplished and the Ford Shelby GT350-H was born

This time around, Shelby American started with a Mustang GT equipped with a Ford Performance handling pack and exhaust system, then added custom bodywork that includes a hood fitted with in-n-out vents, unique front splitter and rocker panels, a big rear spoiler and mesh grilles.
