Genesis, the newly separated luxury offshoot of Korean carmaker Hyundai, has released a compelling teaser clip and image for a concept it will unveil at next week’s New York motor show 2016.
Another will be a small sedan about the size of BMW’s 3-Series. It will be badged a G70 and at next week’s 2016 New York Auto Show we will be given a preview in the form of a concept.
The Hyundai group’s newly born luxury brand has already confirmed plans to add a rear-wheel drive BMW 3-series rival called the G70 in 2017, so it makes perfect sense for the Koreans to tease the car - directly or indirectly – at the Big Apple this year.
Described as a four-door sports sedan, there’s speculation the concept car could preview a Genesis compact executive rival to cars such as the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
